Creating an Account with SwingU

We ask you to create a SwingU account so we can store statistics about your golf game for your reference.
You can log into the website at www.swingu.com or the app after each round to see your stats and learn more about your game.
This is where the true power of SwingU comes to life!

When first opening the app, you will be presented with the option to enter your information.
- If you have an existing account, then once you enter your email address, you will be prompted to enter your account password.
- If you do not have an existing account, you will see boxes to enter your first name, last name, and a password for the new account.
If you select the option to sign in with Google or Apple, then you will enter your credentials for those accounts. If no account exists, then one will be created for you in the SwingU system.
- If you select the option to sign in with Google, and you have an existing account tied to your Gmail address, then the app should automatically take you to that account once you go through the sign-in process.
  - If your existing account is through any other email domain, then you will create a new account by using the Google sign-in method. and we will need to merge your accounts together.
- If you select the Apple ID option, and you have an existing account with the same email tied to your Apple account as the one you used with SwingU, you must select the option "Share My Email" to be taken to your existing account.
  - If you use the "Hide My Email" selection, then Apple will generate a hidden email address to give to our system, which means a new account will be created.

If you accidentally create a new account when you had an existing one using different login information, please email us to request that merge your accounts together.
