SwingU GPS Background Location Usage

The  SwingU GPS application utilizes app user's location to pinpoint their exact location on the golf course. This provides users with the most accurate distances to greens and hazards and ensures the player that they are using the correct club selection based on distance, elevation, wind speed. GPS accuracy is important to the application, if inaccurate then the user will not be able to use the core functions of the app on course utilities. If a user was to put their phone in their pocket and take it out on approach, if we don't have location in the background enabled, that experience will be severely hindered out on the golf course impacting the core functionality of the GPS app.

Clicking Play from the main module tab will use the user's location to load the closest Golf Course to them for them to quick start a round within the app. With the location services running in the background, a user does not need to go searching by location for their course.

SwingU GPS Other Location Service Usage

Utilizing the Courses module in the app will require location access as it provides distances to the courses for the user who is manually navigating for a course. It takes current location, then lists out the courses from nearest to furthest for user.
