Do Smartwatches Work With SwingU?

Wearable tech is something right out of 50's sci-fi but that future is now here! We know that there are a variety of devices that our users have elected to purchase to make their daily lives easier, and we strive to provide options for everyone to use their watches while out on the course.

So Which Watch Can I Use?

The app currently supports the series 4 and newer of Apple Watch for use with the iOS app, and we have another handy FAQ page to help walk you through the setup process. SwingU also works with WearOS(formally known as Android Wear) watches on Android phones, and you can see how to set it up here. The Android app should be compatible with any WearOS watches running WearOS version 3 or later. Though you may be able to run the app with an older model, we cannot guarantee it will be compatible long term. At this time WearOS devices are not compatible with the iPhone app, even though they may be compatible with the phone as only the Apple Watch is supported on iOS.

But I Have A Different Device?

We know that there are more watches out there than just those two different types, and we want to make sure that we can provide options for as many people as possible. While we may not support the likes of older Samsung watches that run the Tizen OS, Pebble or Fitbit devices, or other unique GPS watches, at this time, that is not to say that we will not develop apps for those platforms in the future.
