What does it mean to force close the app?
Force closing the app means to stop it running on your phone completely, but not deleting it.
How to force close the app:
Using an Apple device:
- If you are using an older model iPhone with a home button, Double tap your home screen button that views all the apps running and swipe up to rid the app (close it)
- If you are using a newer device with gesture controls, swipe up from the bottom of the screen without removing your finger, then select the SwingU by swiping left or right to scroll through previous apps, then swipe up to close.
Using an Android device:
- If your device has soft buttons at the bottom of the screen, tap the double box icon to bring up the list of recently used apps and swipe away to stop the app.
- If you do not have soft buttons and instead use gesture controls, swipe up and hold to bring up recently used apps and swipe away SwingU
